I’m calling Seascape 2 finished except for a few sharp wave lines in the foreground and a signature. I didn’t sign it today cause a wave line might go over the signature. I’m talking 10 minutes of painting. I’m happy with it.

Worked on all of Seascape 2. Until today I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get the seascapes right but now I’m feeling better about them. I’m thinking I’ll need two more sessions of painting everything and then details which is just over two weeks. The boat will get many details. I’ve just roughed the water in. In the next session, I’ll add small waves. The sky of Seascape 1 still worries me. Hopefully that goes well tomorrow.

Worked on Seascape 2. It’s starting to come together.

I was working on my trailer this week, getting it ready for a September fishing trip. It’s a cheap trailer with over 31,000 miles on it. The steps and the steel frame that holds the steps pretty much fell off. If the step assembly had fallen off while going down an interstate some bad things could have happened. The drain tubes for the black and gray tanks didn’t have any support. The supports rusted away. That could have been quite a nasty mess.

Worked on Seascape 2. There will probably be one more session of building the sky, boat, and water in a basic way followed by one or two sessions of sky, boat, and water details.
