Finished Still Life 13. Before Monday I need to finish all of my original group of still life paintings. They need to dry for at least a week before I “oil out” all of them before I give them away. The oiling out will make all of them look better. The backgrounds have all “sunk” at least a little bit. Rubbing them with a little linseed oil will give them that luxurious oil painting look.
Finished Still Life 17. This won’t be the frame that goes with this painting. The painting needs a frame with a small border, maybe gold, on the inside of the frame.
Worked on Still Life 14. There is still a little work to be done on the apples, the shadows, and the background on the right third of the painting.

Finished the thirteen still-life paintings I started at the end of March. Ten were successful imho. Three were failures. I gave one as a gift a couple of months ago.
