Started a new painting, Landscape 10, just for fun. The dimensions are 14 x 11. It will be an impressionistic painting. I’ve done two quick sessions. It’s not anywhere close to being finished. I hesitate to post this one cause it could turn out to be a mess.

Worked on Still Life 12 which turns out is the same painting as Still Life 16. Doesn’t matter. I’ll keep one and give one away.

Worked on Still Life 10. For whatever reason this one was more difficult for me so I’ll probably need to do an additional step. I really didn’t feel like doing another session today. If I don’t work steady at these I’ll never finish these paintings.

Worked on all of Still Life 6. I intended to do similar parts of several paintings but ended up working on all of Still Life 6. I think there will be one more session where I’ll work on all of the painting and then one or two detail sessions. I need to start having a painting session at night as well as in the morning to double my production. This photo has a lot of glare.

Began Still Life 18 and finished the first step of all thirteen still life paintings. There are two groups of similar still life paintings, the four lighter, pale greenish with shadows from blinds paintings, and the nine darker paintings. For each of the next stages, I should be able to work on two to three paintings a day, working on similar colored bottles, glasses, apples, backgrounds, and tables. The bottles, glasses, and apples aren’t very big. I’m thinking I’ll paint the bottles, glasses, and apples in more detail, finish the backgrounds and tables, and then finish up the bottles, glasses, and apples. These paintings are training for the clear streams I will start painting when I finish these paintings. I am going to begin a larger painting of a sailboat sailing on cobalt-blue sea swells. All of these are to be gifts if they turn out. For a couple of weeks, I have been playing with the AI image generator, changing parameters and varying the resulting images trying to find a suitable image of a sailboat on rough cobalt seas.
So far I like this one but with more water added to the left-hand side of the image.
